Next summer or fall come along for an alpine retreat and adventure unlike any other. A nature bath in one of the most beautiful corners of Colorado for all women.
Imagine yourself surrendered by scenic mountains, star gazing and unwinding in fresh mountain air with space to relax, explore, practice, meditate, practice, create, and connect, thrive, and adventure!
Join me for a retreat in Snowmass and Aspen, Colorado and create space for a petite week of yoga, hiking, hot springs, relaxation, nature, art, and meditation.
Slow down, pause, and revel in daily yoga, the option to add additional adventures on your own, an art workshop, and more. We will slow down in our yoga practices to enjoy and explore the energetics and alignment of asanas, proper breath work, and a variety of guided mindful and vipassana meditations.
Students will also have the option to pop around town or simply soak up more time at the hotel and lodge, check out town, or get out for an epic guided adventure hike, fishing, or more with a trusted guide.
All students are encouraged to join but basic outdoor knowledge and some hiking experience is encouraged as this is a high-altitude mountain retreat.
Retreat yourself and create space to slow down and share a wonderful long weekend with a fantastic group of adventurous, mindful, and nature-loving women.
-- Please note: we will all carpool to the hot springs outside Carbondale, and to a meal or two in town.

LODGING:
The Lodge in Snowmass, Colorado
Retreat to our modest yet lovely and comfortable slope side hotel and lodge in Snowmass, Colorado. Our original hotel in Aspen has closed their pool and hot tub unfortunately for necessary work and construction so we have shifted our lodging accordingly to an equally beautiful locale and lodging that has stunning views, and a nice pool and hot tub area. We will still be staying slope side and this update in lodging means that we will be walking distance now to many great restaurants, shops, coffee shops, etc in the Snowmass Mountain Village, as well as right next to a free bus/shuttle and transport around Snowmass and to Aspen.
The spirit of the mountains is calling you to our mountain lodge in scenic Snowmass.
YOGA:
We will be practicing a sustainable, yet strong, dynamic, and compassionate yoga practice and flow marrying together the traditions of Iyengar and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It’s a really lovely practice and style for all. We will slowly and mindfully weave our way through alignment-based practices each day taking time to workshop asanas and come-see-come-look moments giving students the opportunity to demo postures as we practice. Expect longer holds here and there, break-downs of alignment and postures, and a focus on the breath. Classes are appropriate for all levels from beginners to advanced practitioners and teachers. We ask students to be truly curious and expect to take a deep and joyful dive into the practice and your own inner ecology and wilderness. We will also weave in gentle yoga, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra for relaxation.
MEDITATION:
We will be practicing guided + silent Vipassana and Mindful Meditation during the retreat including breath meditations, heart meditations such as the Loving Kindness/Metta Meditations, and compassion meditations.
HIKING:
We will be getting out for a couple of hikes and nature walks during our time on retreat. They will be gentle to moderate in difficulty, however we are hiking at high elevation which can increase the difficulty. We will go easy and not push it too hard when hiking. We will take breaks for the group and listen to our needs.
Please bring good and supportive hiking shoes, a daypack to hike with, a reusable water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, and layers as we know Colorado weather can change in a flash.
